Our Team
President
Eric Stewart is a Partner with the Washington DC firm of Williams & Jensen, PLLC. Mr. Stewart represents clients before the Administration, Congress and select foreign governments on a range of international and domestic policy matters. Mr. Stewart also serves as the President of the US-Poland Business Council, as the Executive Director of the US Turkmenistan Business Council and as the President of the American-Romanian Business Council.
Prior to joining Williams & Jensen and the US Chamber, Mr. Stewart served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe at the U.S. Department of Commerce where he was responsible for developing programs, policies and strategies designed to strengthen the United States' commercial position in Europe. Mr. Stewart directed the Department's activities on trade, commerce, compliance and investment policies for more than 50 countries (including European Commission and 25 EU countries, Turkey, Russia and the Independent States) in the region. He also created and oversaw the federal government’s Hurricane Contracting Information Center which was stood up after Hurricane Katrina in an effort to assist small, minority, women and local-owned business access the resources needed to compete for government contracts to rebuild the Gulf Coast. During his tenure at Commerce he was also tapped as a surrogate for the U.S. President on issues ranging from Social Security reform to energy policy. Mr. Stewart served as the Acting Assistant Secretary and was granted top secret security clearance.
Prior to joining the George W. Bush Administration, Mr. Stewart served as the Director for External Affairs at the telecommunications company Ameritech/SBC. He also worked as the Political & Assistant State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB/Ohio), representing more than 36,000 small-business owners. Mr. Stewart previously served in former Ohio Gov. George V. Voinovich’s administration.
Mr. Stewart, who holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, also served three years on the University’s National Alumni Board of Directors as well as received the Ohio University 2002 Outstanding Recent Graduate Award. In 2006, Mr. Stewart was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary by the President of Hungary for his outstanding contributions to fostering Hungarian-American economic relations. In 2012, Mr. Stewart was awarded the Knights Cross of the Order of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland for Mr. Stewart’s formation of the US-Poland Business Council. He is also a member of the Atlantic Council.
Policy Director
Luke Myers is an International Government Affairs Manager at Williams & Jensen, PLLC, the Vice President of the American- Lithuanian Business Council, and the Policy Director for the US-Poland Business Council. He works closely with Congress, the U.S. Administration, and select foreign governments to promote American trade and commercial relationships abroad. Mr. Myers has organized international policy conferences with participation from cabinet-level officials of the U.S. and overseas governments. Previously, Mr. Myers worked in the office of U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown on a variety of issues, including education, labor, and international trade. He got his start in public policy as a Research Assistant for the Center for College Affordability and Productivity, a higher education think tank, where he co-authored “College Rankings: History, Criticisms, and Reform.” Mr. Myers holds a B.A. in political science from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University.
Director of Administration
Victoria A. Hunter is the Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Williams & Jensen, PLLC. She also serves as the Director of Administration for the US-Turkmenistan Business Council, American- Lithuanian Business Council and US-Poland Business Council. Prior to her arrival at Williams & Jensen, she covered various issues on the staff of Congressman Vern Buchanan. In 2010, she worked on Senator Marco Rubio's Senate Campaign. Victoria also served as an administrative coordinator at Schlesinger Law Offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Victoria holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL.
Director of Finance
Kimberly Szabo is the Director of Finance for the American-Lithuanian Business Council. She is also the Director of Political Action Committee Administration at Williams & Jensen, PLLC since November 2008. Previously, she served as an administrative assistant at the same firm. She also serves as the Director of Finance for the US-Turkmenistan Business Council, American- Lithuanian Business Council and US-Poland Business Council. Ms. Szabo is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a B.A. in Political Science and Communication.
